Hall of Fame Induction

7 p.m. // Vern Riffe Center for the Arts

Shawnee State Athletics will host the 2022 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts at 7 p.m.

The 2022 Hall of Fame Class includes:

• Sarah Biehl; Women’s Cross Country & Track 2012-2016

• Dirk Hollar; Men’s Cross Country 2002-2005

• Ali Zieverink; Women’s Basketball 2012-2016

• Chris Moore; Ralph Kavanaugh Home Team Award

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online. Tickets include entry into the Hall of Fame Induction and 1 drink tickets and appetizers at the Hall of Fame Social following.

Shawnee State Homecoming Tailgate & Carnival

11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. // Shawnee Turf
Join us for our annual Tailgate and enjoy good food, refreshments, games and a good time. A Reunion Years Tent, Alumni Spirit Shop open, Bear Club Hospitality Tent, entertainment, inflatables, face painting, and games for all ages will be on hand and SSU Beer Garden for those of age. Mingle with alumni, faculty, friends and students while cheering on your SSU Bears!

Homecoming Parade

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. // Campus

SSU students, family, alumni, and the Portsmouth Community join us for our annual Homecoming Parade! Watch floats, student organizations, clubs, student-athletes, Shawn E. Bear, Baxter the Plastics’ Robot, and much more march through campus.

During halftime of the Men’s game, the SSU Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will be introduced.
